The Pines Wind Farm proposal is located approximately 15 km south of Oberon, in the NSW Central Tablelands. The proposal is being developed by TagEnergy.
Proposed Indigenous Land Use Agreement
Seeking persons who may hold native title in the proposed Indigenous Land Use Agreement area.
The proposed ILUA area is:
- Approximately 1,500 square kilometres in size
- Located in the vicinity of Black Springs, Porters Retreat, Burraga and Trunkey Creek
- Located in Oberon and Bathurst Local Government Areas
The ILUA would pertain to the following categories of land on which wind farm development is proposed:
- State forest land and Crown land
- Any other land in the proposed Indigenous Land Use Agreement area where native title may not have been extinguished
