Simon Clifton

Before joining TagEnergy, Simon held the position of Head of Development and Delivery at WestWind Energy. During his tenure of 6 years at WestWind, Simon was actively engaged in various pre-permit wind farm projects. Under his guidance, Simon's team played a pivotal role in acquiring over 2GW of land for wind energy projects.

Notably, Simon spearheaded the team responsible for conceiving and successfully obtaining approval for the Golden Plains Wind Farm - an accomplishment that stood as the largest of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere at the time of its permitting.

Currently based in Melbourne, Simon is Project Director for The Pines Wind Farm.
